Our carefully sequenced curriculum is designed to deepen and extend children’s learning through purposeful play, rich experiences, and meaningful interactions. We continue to place a strong emphasis on communication and language, helping children to broaden their vocabulary, develop conversation skills, retell stories, and confidently share their ideas and experiences.
Children are provided with a stimulating environment that promotes physical development through a wide range of opportunities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, supporting early writing, coordination, balance, and overall wellbeing.
Through strong partnerships with families, we ensure every child is supported to thrive and reach their full potential.
Most importantly, our Nursery provides a seamless transition into Reception, equipping children with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and love of learning needed for the next stage of their education.
We welcome visits from parents, carers and their children. Contact the school office to arrange a visit where you can meet nursery leader Miss Meeks along with Headteacher Mrs Thorne and learn how our caring, experienced team supports your child’s early development. Enjoy a guided tour of our vibrant classroom and exciting outdoor play area to see where your child will learn, play and grow in a safe and stimulating environment.
We offer 15 hours funded places per week. You can choose a morning or afternoon session of 3 hours per day.
| Session | Time |
| Morning | 8.45m – 11.45am |
| Afternoon | 12.30pm – 3.30pm |
We have a dedicated classroom and outdoor play area for nursery, which means they can freely explore and interact with other children of the same age in a safe, friendly environment. Children attending our nursery benefit from joint activities with children from the 2 year provision and Reception which helps them when they are ready to move up to the next stage. The nursery location means they will become familiar with the room layout of where they will continue their learning.
