School uniform plays a key role in promoting pride, self-confidence, and a feeling of belonging within Sycamore Academy. These factors contribute to pupils’ wellbeing, removing the additional pressures of deciding what to wear and added stress of meeting the expectations of their peers. School uniform is compulsory for children at Sycamore Academy in Reception to Year 6. All students are expected to wear their uniform correctly and consistently
No, at Sycamore Academy we try to source good quality uniform at very reasonable prices so we can pass this onto our parents/carers.
Grey sweatshirt (V-neck and crew neck), blazer (to order), ties, cardigans, blue polo shirt, school bag, PE bag, Navy PE top with logo, Navy PE shorts, blue caps. (All other items can be purchased online or from Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury, Marks & Spencer and other leading department stores).
If there are any issues with uniform we will send a letter home to let you know and give you the opportunity to get correct uniform. If the issue persists your child will miss their playtime.
