By the end of year 6, we expect all children to have their own style of writing. Throughout Key Stage 2, we support children to write using the cursive script. We teach this through the handwriting programme ‘Nelson Handwriting’. We believe and know that children who join their handwriting fluently, and form letters accurately, find writing easier and more enjoyable.
